Heart of America Johnson Clinic will once again serve the community of Towner. A full service clinic will be located in the current Towner Health and Wellness building on the corner of Main and Third Street.
“The organization has always recognized the need for a clinic in Towner. The commitment to rural health and to the community is what inspired us to pursue re-opening a clinic. We can offer care for all ages which includes annual exams, well-child visits, physicals and the possibility for walk-in and same day appointments.” States Dustin Hager, PA-C Chief Medical Officer at Heart of America Medical Center.
The clinic will be open three days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. Jenna Thompson, Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Nicole Lemieux, Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) will be the primary care providers. Laboratory services will be available with specimens sent to HAMC in Rugby and inventory of frequently prescribed medications will substitute an onsite pharmacy.
“Our goals with this expansion are to sustain and maintain services for the current and future population of Towner. I believe the three pillars of a successful community are schools, government institution and healthcare. With the support of the community and our organization we will care for patients many years to come.” States Patrick Branco, CEO
