2022 Charity Golf Classic


Registration is now open for the 24th Annual Charity Golf Classic to be held Friday, July 15 at the Rugby Golf Club.

Slots in the tournament are reserved at the time team registration fees are paid. Registration deadline is July 1.

Team captains are strongly advised to register teams online. Tip: You may also want to poll teammates about Pay-to-Plays and Grenades, as all may be purchased online.

Sponsors are part of what makes this golf fundraiser such a success. Contributions can be made online using the Charity Golf Classic Registration Form. To mail a team registration, sponsorship check or to make an in-kind contribution, please use the sponsorship form provided here. We do encourage team registrations to be made online.

Cancellation policy: If the tournament is cancelled for any reason, teams and sponsors will be offered full refunds or the opportunity to contribute all or a portion of sponsorships and fees to this year’s cause, Build 2024 - Capital Campaign. 

The Greatest Needs Gala was a the first fundraising event with proceeds going towards our Build 2024 - Capital Campaign, and it was the largest in Foundation history raising over $50,300! From gala to golf, join in on one of the largest and most entertaining golf tournaments Rugby has to offer. All proceeds will go towards the campaign efforts to raise more than $2.5 million dollars towards the new Heart of America Medical Center.

More than 100 golfers, representing more than 20 local businesses and organizations, participate in the Charity Golf Classic each year. Golfers are sorted into two flights and countbacks are used to determine winning teams. Just for the fun of it, players compete for best team costume.
